First time at the ACT track and it was a bit different to anything we have run on before, the paint they used on the surface was just a little different to anything else. There was a large camber to the whole track, making it difficult to get the cars right and also difficult to drive too... surface was slippery from the start and didnâ™t really come up like we thought it would.

The ARS didnâ™t seem to work in Modified class, as it was a little loose on the rear end. The high speed corners and slippery surface didn't favor the ARS. We ran with STD configuration here. Although in Stock and 21.5 there were a couple of guys running the ARS with good success.
With rain on Saturday afternoon the Qualifying was cut short to 4 rounds from 6. Best 2 of four to count for the finals qualifying. Rain again on Sunday morning delayed the start of the finals day, but finishing late into the afternoon allowed the finals to be finished. With all the rain track conditions were changing with each run, track experience paid off in these situations.
